A normal day, though I was unable to pick up the kids as I'd thought I could so they had to walk home. I watched an episode of All Her Fault tonight while they were in their rooms doing homework. 

And now: the before-and-after retaining wall photos you've all been waiting for! All of these photos were taken from the neighbor's driveway. Our yard and house are above the wall; you can't see them from this angle.

Voila, a pleasing new wall! (Walls, plural, since we had to fix the lower wall too.) You can see the very top of our house in this one. The ivy-covered wall is part of our garage.
