Squabbles

Today was an off day. The kids were moody and irritable and couldn't land on anything they wanted to do. We played two rounds of Rummikub but they bickered the whole time. They didn't want to go onto the dock. They didn't want to go for a walk (though Greta eventually did). They definitely didn't want to go on our mile run (but did anyway, griping). They grudgingly agreed to reading a chapter of Little Women outside. I made them do math, typing, and Duolingo. They just could not be pleased today.

Tonight was Andrew's dad's last night here so we went to dinner at Harpoon Brewery, then came home and sat around the firepit. 

Let's hope for a better day tomorrow.
