Summer: Tues., 8/21

Another day at home. We did go to the library briefly this afternoon to exchange some books, but that was it. I tried to get the girls to play outside, but they weren't interested. All they wanted to do was play inside, in the basement playroom. We played Quirkle together, finished The Worst Witch, and read half of The Bland Sisters.

Down sides of the day: No one liked the dinner I made (burrito bowls, which I've made several times before with no complaints). Greta refused to practice piano. The library's summer reading program is officially over, though they can still receive prizes through the end of the month. Two weeks till school starts.
