Quarantine: Fri. 5/1

Fridays are days to look forward to. Friday is generally a catch-up day for homeschool, so the kids don't have much to do. After lunch they played outside in the giant mud pit for a long time, then played with Legos in the basement. (The Legos are still being obsessively played with, and they are still strewn all over the floor, unsorted.)

The pool was delivered. Our summer yard plans are coming together.

We ordered dinner tonight from Porto Falafel and then watched Hook. It was really sad to see Robin Williams as he speaks the final line, "The greatest adventure is to live."

And that's it. I'm too tired to write more tonight. I had a hard time sleeping last night after watching Abducted in Plain Sight, which was a documentary about both a horrific kidnapping and the worst parents on the planet. The egregiously terrible parenting was almost as jaw-dropping as the victim's story of her capture, brainwashing, and abuse.
